  • Attachment Evaluation Dozer Blade Evaluation Machine Manufacturer: Caterpillar Machine Model: D6M LGP Machine #: 3872 Machine Serial Number: 4JN01069 Stock Number: 180210 Blade Inofmation Type of Blade: Straight Angling Blade Assembly Blade Width: 13 feet Blade Height: 40 inches Blade Manufacturer: Caterpillar Blade Notes Condition of Pin Holes/Trunnion Ball Sockets: All of the pin holes appear to be in decent shape. Condition of Moldboard (note the amount of wear back towards all cutting edge & corner bit bolt holes): The bottom of the moldboard is in good condition and isn't worn back to the cutting edges bolts. The blade has been re-faced with several plates. Condition of Cutting Edges/Corner Bits: All of the cutting edges are worn and have already been turned. Condition of Blade Arms/Angling Frame/Struts: All of the pin holes appear to have a small amount of wear. Otherwise the angling frame appears to be in overall good shape. Condition of any Hydraulic Cylinders (Tilt, Angling, etc.): Both of the angling cylinders are leaking oil past the rod wiper seal and the rods have some small scratches in the chrome. The blade tilt cylinder is also leaking oil past the rod wiper seal and the rod has several large pits in it. Repairs/Modifications: The moldboard blade face has been plated. Cracks/Damage: One of the smaller plates on the moldboard face has worn thin and is cracked. Other (Tag Info, etc.): Part number stamped on the attached moldboard tag: 112-7447.
