Branson IRAM-Laser Welder, MDL 0187, SN #473247, 240VAC 1P 60H, Blt. 2002. Opening Bid: $25.00 Working condition when removed from operation last November. Fully integrated system that offers rapid setup features, process control and necessary safety features. IRAM (Infrared Assembly Method) joins thermoplastics by heating them with infrared radiation. This welder can perform two types of IRAM welding (TTlr and Staking). This welder can operate only in Scan Mode. The weld cycle can perform the weld cycle using time (weld time) or distance (distance weld). The welder contains an HMI (interface) and PLC to run weld cycles and uses HPGL Control Software running on an external computer to control the XY Servo Slides for Scan Mode (PC not included). This unit also requires a recirculate to cool the controller and would have to be purchased separately (not included). There is a four inch hole on the left side that would need to be patched to prevent any laser energy from escaping the metal enclosure. The hole was made for a marking laser that was removed and is not included. Buyer responsible for packaging, loading and shipping.
